Biography in brief

Masud Pathik, PhD, is a Bangladeshi filmmaker, poet and scholar. His films include Nekabborer Mohaproyan (2014, National Film Award for Best Film), Maya: The Lost Mother (2019, ten National Film Awards) and Soul of Nature: BOK (2026). He has published twenty-nine books of poetry, is a former lecturer, holds a PhD in cinematic music on the films of Ritwik Ghatak, leads Bratya Creation and the World Ecology and Autism Film Forum Bangladesh, and received the Bangla Academy Literary Award in 2023.
